My class is about teaching the fundamental's of 2D Animation digitally. The Students will learn the entire pipeline to create an 2D Animation, along with the 12 animation rules that most professional animators follow. I have 8+ years of Professional 2D Animation experience, as well as teaching students about animation. My class will have a 20 -30 minutes of lecture, followed by 30 minutes of students showing what they learned with a short animation practice.

My class is teaching Digital 2D Animation. From all the basics in the software, like the timelines, frame-rates, layers, setup. To some basic animation activities like short student animations showcasing the 12 Fundamental Animation Rules. All to help the students better understand the basics that can be transferred to most other Animation programs.
The students will learn about the basic setup and usage of Clip Studio Paint, including the 12 Rules of Animation and the entire Animation Production Pipeline. At the end of each lesson we will take some time doing a timed 2D animation assignment that will help further the student's understanding. The Final lessons will have the student create a quick 10 Second Animation showcasing what they have learned, and start them on their own Animation journey.
I have been a Professional 2D Animator for over 8+ years, and I have taught multiple students of different ages. I am patient and willing to work with any student on whatever additional questions they have about the subject. Lastly, I love Animation and look forward to seeing the amazing things my students will create!
The first 30-40 minutes will be a lecture along with follow up questions throughout the lesson. The final 20 minutes will be creating a short 2 second animation. Along with sharing any additional last minute tips or tricks of the lesson. Any critiques are available afterward if requested.
